Analysis of the cell line from Flow Laboratory. Flow1000, Flow2000 and etc.

Comparisons between cell lines were done by the CellID system at http://cellbank.nibio.go.jp/ .

Results

1. JPH0006: Flow1000(F1-860903)
   
   FPH0006:Flow1000 and JPH0005:Flow6000 were consistent (Ev=1.000).

   JPH0002:Flow2000(F2-911106)
   

   JPH0002:Flow2000 is unique, but the JCRB0067:Flow2000 was differ from the JPH0002 (Ev=0.500).

   JPH0007:Flow3000(F3-860409)
   

   JCRB0068:Flow3000 was consistent with both JPH0004:Flow7000 and IFO50079:Flow7000 (Ev=1.000).

   JPH0008:Flow4000(F4-940810)
   

   The JPH0008:Flow4000 is unique among the 526 Cell lines in the JCRB Cell Bank.

   JPH0005:Flow6000(F6-900307)
   

   The JPH0005:Flow6000 was consistent with the JPH0006:Flow1000 (Ev=1.000).

   JPH0004:Flow7000(F7-910813)
   

   The JPH0004:Flow7000 was consistent with the JPH0007:Flow3000 (Ev=1.000).

   JPH0003:Flow8000(F8-790313)
   

   The JPH0003:Flow8000 was unique among the 526 human cell lines in the JCRB Cell Bank.

   JPH0001:Flow11000(F11-870211)
   

   The JPH0001:Flow1000 was unique among the 526 human cell lines in the JCRB Cell Bank.

   JPH0009:Flow13000(F17-870211)
   

   The JPH0009:Flow13000 was consistent with both IFO50073:MRC-5 and JCRB9008:MRC-5 (Ev=1.000).
   

Results summary

• The JPH0002:Flow2000 is different cell ine from the JCRB0067:Flow2000. The JPH0002 is the original and the notice should be attached to the JCRB0067

• JCRB0067:Flow2000 was also unique but is not identified the real cell line at the moment.

• The JPH0006:Flow1000 and the JPH0005:Flow6000 were established from same individual.

• The JPH0004:Flow7000 and the JPH0007:Flow3000 were established from same individual.

• The JPH0009:Flow13000 and both JCRB9008:MRC-5 and IFO50073:MRC-5 were established ftom the same individual.

• The Flow2000 ,the Flow4000, the Flow8000, the Flow11000 were all unique cell lines.

Discussion

• Flow2000 in the JCRB cell bank should be identified.

• It was surprizing that the Flow13000 and the MRC-5 were the same patern by the STR-PCR experiment. This is a question.
