Notes | HB virus genome fragment was detected by realtime PCR. However, viral particles and HBe antigen (core protein of HBV) were not detected (Gan. 1981,72(1):178-9). Also, there was no detectable free viral linear DNA at 3.2 kb or free viral closed circular DNA in the 2.3 kb region by Southern blotting for DNAs extracted from huH-1 (Nucleic Acids Res. 1983 Aug 25;11(16):5391-402). Therefore infectious HBV particles will not be produced by huH-1. |
