The two strains, TCC-PAN2, JCRB1921 and JCRB1072 are registered in JCRB Cell Bank.
These are essentially the same, and at present, the strain difference is not known.

The JCRB1072 strain was first deposited at JCRB, but later, the original developer newly deposited TCC-PAN2 that was kept at his laboratory, and it was registered in JCRB as catalog # JCRB1921.

So, JCRB decided to distribute the JCRB1921 as available strain.

If you need TCC-PAN2, please use JCRB1921 strain.
